Free Projects.

So far I've got five that are free for your perusal. All include the original code I used to generate them, so you can look at the source and learn how not to write code.:)

The first is a screen saver randomiser that allows you to randomise a list of screen savers to any degree you like.

The second is a screen saver I wrote to play with OpenGL. It loads in .3ds space ship models and speeds them past the camera, as though doing a flyby in some Sci-Fi movie. You can add models to the scene, and affect almost anything involved in the scene, from the model it loads, the sound it plays as it zips past, to the number of suns and stars as they stream by.

The third one is a small app that allows you to run any app at any time you want - so you schedule running programs that don't have that functionality built in.

The fourth is an app that allows batch manipulation of saved images, like Jpegs or Gifs - you can rotate them, resize them, convert them from one format to another and mix and match functions. It supports drag and drop and can handle images from more than one directory at a time.

The Touch DOS Command.

This is a project that has no image - it's a C# project that emulates the Touch command on Unix to update files / groups of files / directories. Just click on this link here to check this out.

The Quote Machine

A new project was added recenty - The Quote Machine. Basically a PHP App using MySQL as the back end DB that allows Adding / Editing of Quotes via a web front end or via Curling (calling of web page links to get returned a list of quotes). A bit of fun for all the family.

Back It

The last has no image (since I don't honestly want to show my home machines directory structures!) but is cool - it's a C# app that facilitates file copying from one area to another, only copying that which changes between copying sessions and even allowing cleaning up of the destination directory. Thats found at this link here.
